Hello everybody and welcome to the first edition of World of Soccer Review. Today I will be reviewing the big events and question marks that have occurred this week in the soccer world.

Liverpool Finally Break the Alex Oxlade Chamberlain Curse.

Ever since Liverpool signed Chamberlain, the team went on a streak in which they did not win in 4 games. These included a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City, two ties and a loss against Leicester City. They finally broke the curse after beating Leicester City 3-2.

Dani Ceballos Dream Debut for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid has been struggling lately and coming into Saturday’s game, they needed a win. Ceballos scored two beautiful goals as Madrid beat Alaves 2-1, while Ceballos had a great debut.

Manchester City Continue Their Winning Ways.

Manchester City recently beat Crystal Palace 5-0 in the Premier League, continuing their ways of thrashing teams. In their past 5 games, Manchester City have scored 22 goals showing off their strong trio of Jesus, Aguero, and Sane.

How Will Barcelona React to the Loss of Ousmane Dembele?

Dembele suffered an injury in Barcelona’s last game and they recently said Dembele will be out for the next 4 months. Barcelona will need someone to step up in his place and show up.

Who is the Best Striker in the Premier League?

This is a question that can be debated for days. As of now, Aguero, Lukaku, and Kane are in the conversation for being the best striker in the Premier League. I think Aguero is the best striker in the Premier League because he creates more chances for teammates and is a great finisher.

How Much Did PSG Offer Cavani to Stop Taking Penalties?

1 million euros. A report came out saying the PSG offered Edison Cavani 1 million euros to give Neymar the penalties. Neymar and Cavani have had a ling drama to decide who takes penalties. PSG has since denied they have offered Cavani money to give up taking penalties.

Bayern Munich Loses to Wolfsburg.

Last time these two teams played, Lewandowski scored 5 goals. Before this match, Bayern Munich and Lewandowski taunted Wolfsburg by posting pictures of Lewandowski scoring 5 goals on their Instagram page. Well, this came back to bite them as Wolfsburg came back from 2 down and tied Bayern Munich.

Arsenal is Winning?

After losing to Stoke City and Liverpool, Arsenal is going on a 5 game unbeaten streak which includes 4 wins and 1 ties (which should have been a win). Sanchez and Lacazette showed how deadly they can be in their game against West Brom.

Argentina Players Dominating Europe.

Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi, and Paulo Dybala all lead their leagues in scoring this season. This could be a very deadly attack next year at the World Cup.

Borussia Dortmund Have a Young Star on the Way.

You Youssoufa Moukoko has scored 16 goals in 7 games for the Dortmund U-17’s. He is only 12, so in the years to come, he could play a very big part in Dortmund’s team.

That is it for this weeks edition of World of Soccer Review. Stay tuned for the next edition.
