This is a very questionable pick as there were other players that could have won this award. Colts came into this game needing a win and Melvin delivered. He picked of DeShone Kizer twice and played great defense.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Stephen Hauschka

Hauschka was 4-4 on field goals against the Broncos. He nailed two field goals beyond 50 yards, one of 49 yards and a 27-yard field goal. Hauschka kept the Bills in the game and won them the game.

Defensive Player of the Week: DeMarcus Lawerence

Lawerence played great in his game against the Cardinals racking up four tackles while having 3 sacks against Carson Palmer. He was the most impressive player on the Cowboys defense
